Sardinia with its land area of 24.089 km² is the second largest island in the Mediterranean after Sicily. The coastline with its length of approximately 1800 km, has the most varied of landscapes: white sandy beaches, small bays and breathtaking cliffs. The same diversity can be said of the hinterland.
